About the World

Principles of Life starts out on a young girl named Maddie Sangster. At the age of 17, she has just finished her favorite manga, highly disappointed by the ending, only to find out that's not where the story ends! Suddenly her life is turned upside down as three magical characters from another land come into her life. They are the beautiful Sialei Natani, the fairy wonder, the swift and quick Kozui with his sea serpent heritage, and with all the strength and might of a lion comes Leo King. Together, these four must fight against the treacherous Damien Monroe to save their homeland of Adulia, Maddie's own Earth, and bring an end to Damien's madness once and for all!
